E2D3 at EdTech Japan Global Pitch

One of the missions of E2D3 is to bring data literacy education for everybody. Big data and data science is today’s buzzword. Not everybody has to know how to handle big data. However, we believe having basic data literacy is important next generation skill, similar to programming.

I had an opportunity to present E2D3 product and mission at EdTech Japan Global Pitch contest last week. The event is co-hosted by Viling Venture Partners and Digital Hollywood University Professor Sato’s ELab. Viling Venture Partners is an early stage venture capital / accelerator which specializes in education segment. Professor Sato’s a prominent Edtech (education technology) expert.

The winners of the pitch competition were to be awarded 1) SXSWedu (South by Southwest, a big edtech conference) booth exhibition, and 2) Entry to The Global Edtech Awards.

E2D3 was one of the 13 finalist companies. Some of them are very well known in the market. The judges are all seasoned investors and asking very straight questions. They are razor sharp. But I should not worry because, after all, we have a really cool product☺

Here is my presentation. Hope I could get across our message and passion.

Although E2D3 could not be one of the winners, I and the team really enjoyed the competition. We will keep trying.

Congratulations to the winners and fellow finalists. They are all awesome with great products.

1st: Arcterus

2nd: Life is Tech, Inc.

3rd: TANREN inc.

Finally, thank you, Viling Venture Partners, and Professor Sato’s Elab, for the opportunity to present E2D3 to Edtech community.
